Survivors will be able to post a need in the app, tell us how many people that have that they believe require assistance and give us the exact location of the device they are using. The information is then directly dispatched or broadcast to agencies that are also signed onto the app.
Agencies registered with the U.S.D.R.R. will either receive a direct notification from D911 of a request they are registered to handle or a notification that was generally broadcast for a request that is urgent. They can accept or reject the request. Once the request is accepted, a provider is assigned to the task.
Providers are the hands on execution of the request. Agencies assign requests to providers that have the ability to respond into the theater to meet the survivors on scene.
The provider is connected, once assigned the task, to the survivor, allowing direct coms with the person in need. Once the provider is on scene, they can communicate with the agency for additional assistance.
